Great minds think alike! I came upon a huge set of Friendly Village a year ago - I paid a lot more than $4.00, but I love them. It is a service for 12 with lots of extra pieces. Also, we've gone with natural wood/black in our dining room. So looking forward to your future posts! Sally

I was so excited to see your name pop up... I ran across your blog during the years you were on break, and I so wished for more posts. Do you still have your sweet chickens? I am sure your classrooms amazing. I am a teacher, too... High school language arts. It's great to know I can look forward to a post every so often. We have Friendly Village dished from my grandmothers. I love that pattern. Love your flair and excitement.

I always enjoy seeing what you've got in store.
These lil' corner vignettes touched my creative style too. I think they're so inviting and capture a story. Projecting a 3d canvas sort of speak. whats extra nice these paintings can be rearranged to fit our moods or season.
