Oh you guys....you are just the best blogging friends EVER! Your comments last night and today about the house, my absence and "blog fire" are so incredibly sweet and heartfelt. You truly are some very special ladies and I feel like I personally know each and every one of you! Honestly I feel the tears coming! Thank you soooo very much for your continued support and for jumping on my wagon and coming along for the ride!
I do have my pictures. Yes, BJ they are in My Pictures and my Kodak Easy Share. I feel like I have lost my whole documented journey and how we spent the summer here at the cottage. But I guess, new year...all new posts, eh! I think I will do a few Blast from the Past posts just to hit some highlights of the last 7 months!
It is back to work some more on the "new" old blog! I am adding to Blog Roll!
Thanks for coming to see me!

I'm glad things are looking better for you today. I've worried about this happening to me. What can we do to prevent losing it all? We do invest so much of ourselves and our time into this marvelous thing called a blog! Take care, Sally
You didn't disappear from my blog follower so you're still good in my blog world! What a bunch of work for you. Am loving your new home! It's exciting to move into a new home! PAM
Hello Jill; I am glad to hear that you are getting set up again on your old new blog. lol;
It has been a while since I have been by, shame on me. I just love the photos of your new home, love the colors so pretty. I can't wait to see more. I promise I won't be so long in visiting again. Have a great weekend.
Hugs;
Alaura
Aww.... thanks! Glad to be here!
So, if you go to your account on your blog, then to picasa web photos, all your pics are wiped out from there too?
There's got to be an easy way we can back up our blogs.
I had a photo book made of Nova thru Flickr/Blurb. It said you could import your blogs right thru and make a book of it. I might spend the money and do that once a year or so~
OMW...I wake up and you had a blog fire! Well, we had our hard drive die last year so I can related to that sinking feeling. Hope you get 'er all up and running again soon! It looks gorgeous so far!
i love those colors and your home appears to be very beautiful. i wish i was more of a bolder color person but i find myself to be very reserved.
Glad you have your pictures.
Jill: I am so sorry about your computer "bad luck", but girl---that house of yours is totally amazing!!! It is very apparent that you are a decorator through and through! I thought you were probably all settled in by now--we had similar delays when we built our house (it's a cracker box next to YOURS!). We were supposed to move in in Oct. and we actually did move the end of March! It was rough and stressful time for sure--but worth it. You're in my thoughts!!! Keep us posted!
Thanks for your visit on my 99th post--you need to return and put a comment on 100 (today's) sometime through Thurs. so you can be entered in my giveaway!! Have a great weekend! L, Dana
Hey Jill, thanks so much for visiting my blog. Your offer to help me with my header sounds awesome. Can you do a picture header like you have here with the existing background that I just installed? That would be awesome!
How do we start?
You can email me at suzanne(dot)joffrion(at)gmail.com. You are so sweet to offer. Thanks my new friend!
Suzanne
Miss Jill! Your such a sweetie! I feel for you, but honestly your new blog is pretty too! You seem to have that back ground thing down.
2 weeks till move in day, can't wait.
How's the little chicken coop coming along?
~Liz
Hi Jill,
Man, I am sooo sorry to hear about your blog "fire"...I think I would have cried. I did something similar back in the day when I posted on RMS. I deleted a room by accident that had pages and pages of comments. Deleting your blog is worse, I know. I am so glad you are back at it though! I love the colors you have chosen for your new home...the red is really pretty and does go so well with your entry...great eye you have picking colors. Your chandelier is wonderful, too! It's exciting getting a new home...I know you can't wait to move in.
:-) Susan
Love the red! laurie
HI....OOO I can not wait to see HOW you decorate your lovely new house! Happy New Year!
I am soooo sorry you lost your old blog. It sounds like something I would do and fear doing!
Your new home is amazing! I love the chandelier in the master bath! I have been telling my hubby for about a year or so that I want one!
Have the happiest of New Years!!!
Kim
